A local primary school required a new building design to include classrooms, communal meeting areas and amenities. The design utilised an expansive deck space that wrapped around the building and flowed seamlessly into a newly landscaped area. Initial client engagement through to final delivery of the building was completed in approximately 7 months. The efficiencies of modular construction allowed this project to fit within specific timeframes required by the school year. A key goal for this project was avoiding the aesthetics of existing classroom portables while still maintaining the potential flexibility for the school to relocate and reuse these modules in the future. My involvement covered direct client communication, concept design and construction documentation.
